Wine Picks: Rose All YEAR

Winter Rosé

Rosé is not just for summer! There are many richer, fuller bodied rosés that pair well with winter dishes.  One of our favorites is the Chateaux Pradeaux Bandol Rosé.

Pradeaux is located in the Bandol AOC of Provence, France.  It is, perhaps, the most recognizable wine region in Provence and produces mostly red and rosé wines which must be, by law, made up of at least 50% Mourvedre.  Chateaux Pradeaux is made of this grape, with some Cinsault as well. Both dark skinned grapes, Mourvedre provides dark fruit and spice, while Cinsault provides softer, more perfumed notes.

Chateau Pradeaux Rosé is complex and age worthy, and pairs well with hardier dishes.
